Here's an example of what I'm saying about the Nova Scotia "Just Us" System.

For years Mayor John Morgan has been fighting the province of NS - the "old boys club" for Cape Breton Regional Municipality's fair share. ...to the point where he has laid his career on the line in more than one brave move on behalf of the good people of CBRM ....and taken the worst of political abuse from the "old boys" members and their wanna-be friends amid the local councillors.  He has taken it "all the way" on behalf of the good.  His years of effort have led to his attack by fellow "old boys" of the barrister's society (Keep in mind that Mayor Morgan was previously a Lawyer) ...... his refusal to cease and desist in his battle for CBRM much needed fair share of the pot was "so right" and "so brave", it took the combined efforts of the "old boys in government" and the associate "old boys" in the barrister's society - to tackle this one man.....this "first of his kind" in Cape Breton who is "with the people" ... "for the people" - granted he has never seen fit to take a public stand on single grave issues such as the Clayton Miller case ....and now.... the June Hibbs case. http://news.sympatico.cbc.ca/Local/NS/ContentPosting?newsitemid=novascotia-ns-morgan-barristers&feedname=CBC_LOCALNEWS&show=False&number=0&showbyline=True&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc&date=True

Mayor in trouble for comments about judges

    13/11/2009 10:19:50 AM

    CBC News
The mayor of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality has been accused of professional misconduct for remarks he made about the Nova Scotia judiciary.

John Morgan, who is also a lawyer, will appear before the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society next week to answer for comments he made to CBC News last year.

Morgan insists he didn't mean to offend anyone and should have the right to speak his mind.

[SIDEBAR]Morgan is accused of breaching the following provisions of Legal Ethics and Professional Conduct: A Handbook for Lawyers in Nova Scotia:

    - Failed in his duty to encourage public respect for justice and to uphold and try to improve the administration of justice.

    - Failed to discharge his duty, as a lawyer who holds public office, to adhere to standards of conduct as high as those which the Handbook requires of a lawyer engaged in the practice of law.

    - Failed to treat the court with courtesy and respect, and failed to uphold and encourage public respect for justice and the administration of justice.[/SIDEBAR]

"Our citizens have the right to have their politicians free to accurately describe the challenges faced by the region," Morgan said Thursday.

In April 2008, after the Nova Scotia Supreme Court rejected the CBRM's lawsuit against the province over equalization payments, Morgan told CBC News that judges in Nova Scotia were "not tree shakers."

He also suggested that most judges have ties to the political process, saying, "They are there because they are, for the most part, part of the establishment."

According to the law society, Morgan failed to treat the court with courtesy and respect, and failed to encourage public respect for justice.

As a lawyer, Morgan must follow certain rules, said Darryl Pink, the society's executive director.

"A lawyer cannot hide behind the fact that he or she is speaking in some other capacity if he breaches the rules that govern all lawyers," Pink said.

Morgan believes he's the first politician in Canada taken to task by a law society for such remarks. He said he meant no disrespect and only wanted to suggest that courts in Nova Scotia are not as active in addressing wrongs as the Supreme Court of Canada.

"I've got great respect for the skills of all of the individuals who are part of the Nova Scotia judiciary. But really, what we're analyzing is not respect for individuals but a process of decision making," Morgan said.

A hearing is scheduled for next Friday in Halifax.
    Please read "the comment below"!
    In my opinion:
Although he has proven himself over and over as the best mayor this area has ever had, there are those who oppose him ..... they include a  the main team players from the old corrupt New Waterford Regime, which became incorporated into Sydney and surrounding communities just about the time when there was a very good possibility that the town of New Waterford and its Hazzard County Police Force was on the brink of "going down" for police brutality cases, and corruption/possible murder, in the Miller case) Just think of the implications here! - had the late NS Police Commission's Ed Mac Neil been granted what he worked for - and was promised to him .....the dismantling of the NW Police force - replaced by RCMP - with a prime objective to unveil what had happened to Clayton Miller and the subsequent cover-up.  Guess they figured: (we'll dismantle NW instead- that way, if the Miller's happen to get enough public support or donations to sue, we will be safe in the arms of the other communities....
amalgamation - (meaning of the word with regards to the town of New Waterford):
the dismantling of the town - as opposed to the dismantling of the police force, and possible lawsuits worth more than the "town purse" has in it.  survival .... control of the situation!
You can find Ed Mac Neil's personal notes on this in the Clayton Miller thread....I will find the exact reference and post it later....Maureen has even more she could post on this if she sees fit.... (from the actual Ed Mac Neil notes)
Notice how the "old boys" in the "Bar" have a "legal handbook" Roll Eyes set of rules for their "brothers" to follow if they expect to play the game with their "mentors" on judicial seats and ultimately on governments seats:  I personally fail to see where any of them respect justice.

Just imagine folks..... what the rest of "the handbook" must look like.  Probably some guy name "Merlin" that guards the "main book".

FYI .....latest on June Hibbs murder....son still fighting

To you Blair ....and to all who want to help..........Please....Please Please....any tips you send to Crime Stoppers and any other arm of the "unjust system", or "just-us sytem"
make sure you duplicate the information on an audio tape or cd ....or if it's written, get it notorized by some notary you trust (they will probably do it free) and for Goodness Sake, get a copy to Blaire
Otherwise, you are just helping the powers that be, to cover-up forever.  That's what happened to us with Clayton's case..... tips going in to those who cover them up!....then we hear years after, of people going to authorities with their stories and nothing ever being done ...and the tips being denied by authorities....causing those who gave the tips to shut up for years ....until they meet my brother, Gervaise with his sign; then they say something like I/WE went to the mounties about what we saw; and they never did anything and never got back to us.
And another BIG STALLER the "just us" system uses is:  they claim you have to formally address the Minister and/or Dept. of Public Safety with such issues.....as they somehow supercede the Minister of Justice and/or Justice Dept.       ...........Well we did that too!.... this May/09 with the support of a printed copy of Clayton's online petition.  All we got back from all these spineless officials was "we regret we cannot help you"  "we cannot do anything more for you at this time" etc. etc. etc.   Maureen has promised to scan/post these responses onto Clayton's thread ....she has suffered physical illness, surgery, and so much since the month of May, I suppose she's just plain discusted and figuring "what's the difference?"
You Blair, and the Miller family, need tens of thousands of people, to stand up across this country...all at the same time....and scream for action in a united voice that can't be silenced.

Talking about How many people do you know of who went missing never to be found and were completely forgotten/aban

I noticed more than a few Google hits landed on "my space" looking for "old murders in New Waterford".  That topic was brought up in the unsolved site.   Come on... speak up folks.... you all know plenty!  ....there's been quite a few deaths around here... murders.... but seems the public seem to think these victims don't deserve the truth to be known.   Here's the link. http://www.unsolvedcanada.ca/index.php/topic,2972.msg27954.html

How many people from Cape Breton do you know of, who were found dead and police just called it suicide or an accident.... I mean don't get me wrong- there are suicides and accidents ....... but how many people were considered to have committed suicide, when you knew they just weren't the type or you knew they couldn't wait for tomorrow? I've heard it remarked for years in Cape Breton, you could be found dead with a hole in your back and it would go down as suicide?  Well, I believe there have been a lot more actual murders in Cape Breton than any of us ever expect.  What do you think?

IT'S BEEN 19 YEARS AS OF THIS DATE SINCE CLAYTON'S MURDER.
Please at least read pages 29 and 30 of the Clayton Miller thread on the unsolved site. ...especially read the letter dated May 4, 2009 and its attachments. The petition, and the letter I'm referring to, have gone to Ottawa and several other destinations - including the media. Again, I ask you all who have supported us, to keep up on any developements.
Especially, I appeal to you all to bring this up to the politicians who come knocking on your door in the next number of weeks. Please don't hesitate to ask them if they have visited this facebook page and/or www.unsolvedcanada.ca site. Please ask them how well they know the circumstances surrounding this boy's tragic death - and why they have not taken a public stand in this matter...could be your kid!
Maybe even the "peeps" here should do the same.

    Thanks folks,

10 Reasons To Throw Out Your Micrwave

Mine Is Gone!  This information is all over the net.... you don't need to check with "Snopes".

From the conclusions of the Swiss, Russian and German scientific clinical studies, we can no longer ignore the microwave oven sitting in our kitchens. Based on this research, we can conclude:

1). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causes long term permanent brain damage by "shorting out" electrical impulses in the brain [de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].

2). The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.

3). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered by continually eating microwaved foods.

4). The effects of microwaved food by-products are residual [long term, permanent] within the human body.

5). Minerals, vitamins, and nutrients of all microwaved food are reduced or altered so that the human body gets little or no benefit, or the human body absorbs altered compounds that cannot be broken down.

6). The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when cooked in microwave ovens.

7). Microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths [tumors]. This may explain the rapidly increased rate of colon cancer in America.

8). The prolonged eating of microwaved foods causes cancerous cells to increase in human blood.

9). Continual ingestion of microwaved food causes immune system deficiencies through lymph gland and blood serum alterations.

10). Eating microwaved food causes loss of memory, concentration, emotional instability, and a decrease of intelligence.

Have you tossed out your microwave oven yet? :)

After you throw out your microwave you can use a toaster oven as a replacement. It is nearly as quick, and much healthier

corrupt officials from BC to NFLD

the corruption in this country stinks to the high heaven... so badly...that if the average person had the time, and the guts, to address these outstandingly blatent abuses of the law and the citizens of this country, there would probably be riots outside courthouses and parliament buildings across the whole of Canada.
Just as sure as you read the facts about Clayton Miller's disappearance and death .... or the bold police cover-up protecting Shannon Murrin from BC to Newfoundland, it just doesn't get any plainer!  Wake up Canada... before it reaches your door... or someone you know and care about becomes the next victim of Canadian injustice.

    Brett McKinnon

RIP Brett~God Bless and comfort this family and this town.  The closure comes with a high price - the reality that they will never see this beautiful young woman, daughter, sister, relative, friend, again.  Remember; there is no closure as long as the circumstances surrounding Brett's death are shrouded in silence.  I hope the people who know anything at all, or seen or talked to her at all in the last few weeks before her disappearance, will talk with her family - and also go to www.unsolvedcanada.ca - if you are not comfortable in contacting her family.  You can express yourself there, and probably, get any information to her family as well.

Clalyton's murder could not have been covered up without the help of the RCMP ....they were involved from Day 1
starting with their presence at the "Nest" the night of the raid. According to witnesses, there were RCMP vehicles on the perimeter of the Nest Area that night ...Step two.... RCMP picked up suspects on that Sunday and questioned them....as one suspect quoted to me, outside the town police station, a day he was making an appearance in court for some charge (I believe to do with fighting if memory serves me correctly) Willie Mac Neil....admitted to me that he was "picked up, taken in, and questioned"  that Sunday....he said to me:  "they tried to pin it on me, but I got 100 witnesses who'll say I was at a party." No mention, whether in media, nor in the inquiry, was made of this. I would wager, any written reports on this would, as all other facts they didn't want out, have been destroyed - or at least well hidden.
For anybody who still thinks our country's renowned boys in red wouldn't stoop to bad cops and corruption, please check out the well known stories in other provinces over the years that scream of RCMP corruption.... one of the most serious being the Lonny Landrud interviews - 7 in total - where Lonny strives to let Canadians know the serious crime he accidently happened upon, which changed his life....actually left his life in peril and at a standstill....as this man lives in fear for his life daily. Please check out all the RCMP corruption sites online and realize what the Millers of Cape Breton, the Lonny Landrud's of this country, and many others are facing. The poeple of this country really need to WAKE UP and demand answers...and justice.... justice for the people .... not cover-ups to keep the corruption going..... http://www.youtube.com/user/PGFIGHTS
